Anna Davis (Community Engagement Coordinator) – My name is Anna Davis and I am the Community Engagement Coordinator for Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition.

I graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and then received a degree in Office Administration from West Coast Baptist College in California. I have also completed certification and am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. For fun, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy photography.

After moving to Wilson, I was involved in Reformers Unanimous Recovery (RU) for 3 years. RU is a faith-based recovery program. While being at RU, I mostly worked in the childcare and I enjoyed being the person that the parents could trust to leave their children with while they went to the meeting. www.tbcwilson.com/ru

Wilson has been my home since 2017.  I love being involved in Wilson County and look forward to becoming more involved through Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition and RC3. I am excited to provide resources, be a help to my community, and to be an ally to recovery. I am very grateful for this opportunity!

Jennifer Lane (Coordinator) – My name is Jennifer Lane and I serve as the RC3 Coordinator.  I am grateful to be working alongside such an amazing team here at Recovery Concepts Community Center.

I graduated from Barton College in 1993 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. I worked for Wilson-Greene MH/DD/SAS (Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services) for 12 years serving as a counselor and case manager.   Also, I worked for PORT Human Services (Patient Outcomes Research Team) for six years serving as the liaison between DSS (Department of Social Services) and Mental Health as the QSAP (Qualified Substance Abuse Professional) for Wilson and Greene MH/DD/SAS.

I have had the pleasure of working with various age groups and diverse populations in the mental health, and substance related field.  One of my passions is developing programs through a combined effort with community agencies and local resources to help increase awareness of substance related issues through education, prevention, and recovery.

I enjoy working with individuals in recovery.  Addiction does not discriminate.  It affects everyone involved. There are many people who have lost hope.  People need encouragement not to give up. They need to be restored, healed, and loved.  I want to be an encouragement to those who have lost their identity to drugs and/or alcohol.

My hobbies are spending time with my beautiful children, painting, crafting, gardening, cooking, spending time outside in nature, praise and worship, and participating in bible studies.
